It Could Have Been Sweet

It has been more than a month since Ateneo lost the championship series to UST. It still leaves that empty feeling in the gut when I think about it but I have to admit that this series is one of the best that I have seen eversince I started watching the games way back in the sixties. This is very much at par with the 2002 series and that winning moment of Chito Narvasa in his junior days at the NCAA. A lot af people agree that it could have gone in any way. It was the breaks of the game. UST came out the victors and it was a well deserved win. As Macky Escalona said during the mass after losing the series, "ta*@ina, hindi natin nakuha, e..."
