Adventure Ride with Nacio!

What do you do on November 1st when all the cemeteries are full? Take advantage of the empty roads and go to places where you wouldn't even think of visiting on ordinary weekends. Yeah, baby!

The idea came about when Al told me that she had to do some things in Pasig. I wanted to ride so I asked Nacio if he wanted to join me. To my surprise, he said yes. Done deal. I told him that we were off to Macapagal where we might be able to find a pair of bargain badminton shoes. He became more excited.

The roads were really empty. We took the Libis, C-5, Fort, Buendia route. Sarap! there were hardly any cars on the roads. We were there in like 45 minutes. We were about to stop in Blu-Wave but the humongous SM MoA stared at us. We decided to go and we were overwhelmed by its size. We stopped at the Ocean side. Seattle's Best was open so we had a couple of drinks and Nacio ordered a ham and cheese croissant. We decided to wait for the mall to open. When it was almost 12 noon, we rode Pilar again so that we can park inside. Once inside, Nacio and I strolled and ended in the iMax theater. Open Season 3D was showing and we decided to watch. It was ok and, good for me, the 3D glasses worked fine. Galing! After the show, we hunted for Al's black Chucks, got Roma a spoof shirt and headed for Blu-Wave for Nacio's badminton shoes. We were able to get a pair of Victors with a 20% discount. Not bad...

We were heading for home when our stomachs started grumbling. It was 3pm and we haven't had lunch. We rode around the Fort for a nice place to eat but there was nothing that suited our fancy. And then I remembered the House of Minis in C-5. Two hungry guys, steaks, cold drinks, perfect! We ordered portehouses and gobbled it up. Nacio was satisfied and so was I. With our full stomachs, we got onto Pilar and rode home. We even had a fly-by over at the park to end this wonderful ride.

What a nice day with Nacio. Next time, kami naman ni Roma!
