Friends...

Last May 30, 2006, a benefit party was held at Cuisine at 6750 for Pilar Estrella's CA treatment. Her batch from Assumption came in full force to give support to Pilar, Ting and their kids. It was a night of dancing, drinking and just seeing old friends to the songs of the eighties. It was nice to see everyone just having a good time.

Pilar was in high spirits and didn't look like she was ill. There were emotional moments like the AVP and her classmates just hugging her everytime they saw her. LABAN! was that night's battle cry.

Father God, I pray for my friend Pilar. May you give her the graces to fight the terrible illness that she has. I also pray for Ting and their children. May they have the strength and courage to battle the illness with Pilar. I pray this, Father, in Jesus' name.
